About LensWatch — methodology and editorial policy

How LensWatch compares contact-lens prices across European retailers, where the data comes from, and how editorial independence is maintained.

What LensWatch is

LensWatch (lenswatch.eu) is an independent contact-lens price-comparison service for the European market. We track what the same lens costs across retailers, normalise it to a price per month (so a 3-pack and a 90-pack are comparable), and show you where it's cheapest today — plus let you watch a lens and get told when to reorder or when the price drops.

Not medical advice

Contact lenses are medical devices. LensWatch compares prices only — we do not fit lenses, give medical advice, or recommend a product for your eyes. Always follow the prescription and fitting from a qualified optician or optometrist, and order exactly the lens you were fitted with.

Where the data comes from

Prices, pack sizes and stock come from retailers' own product feeds, matched across shops by the per-box EAN/GTIN so the same box lines up everywhere. The catalog is refreshed daily. Where a retailer doesn't publish a live price we show a "check price" link instead of guessing.

Editorial independence

We earn affiliate commission when you buy through our links (see the Affiliate Disclosure), but ranking is by price, never by commission. The cheapest offer is always pinned first.
