The short version

LensWatch is free to use. When you click through to a retailer and buy, that retailer may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price you pay — the price is the same as going to the shop directly. Commissions are how we fund the price tracking.

How it works

Our outbound links (the "View deal" and "View price" buttons, routed through /go/<retailer>/<product>) are affiliate links. We work with affiliate networks including Awin (Lentiamo, Vision Direct, Alensa, Mister Spex and others), bol, Daisycon (opticians such as Pearle), Adtraction and CJ. When you complete a purchase after clicking one of our links, the network attributes it to LensWatch and the retailer pays a commission.

Our promise on rankings

Retailers are ranked by price (normalised to a monthly cost, shipping considered), not by how much commission they pay us. The cheapest offer is pinned to the top regardless of whether it earns us anything — some retailers we list pay us nothing at all. We would rather show you the genuinely cheapest option than the one that pays best.

Prices are indicative

Prices and stock are pulled from retailer feeds and updated daily, but they can change between our last update and your click. Always confirm the final price on the retailer's own checkout. We do not display fake "% off RRP" figures.
